ETA security and privacy
ETA is business productivity and execution management software, not employee surveillance. Here is what it records, what it does not, and how data is protected.
Summary ETA records work data, such as projects, tasks, owners, estimates, timelines and progress, so organisations can see how execution is going. It does not record screens, keystrokes, webcams or personal browsing. Access is role-based, changes are audited, and data can be hosted in the region the customer requires.

Controls
| Control | Description |
|---|---|
| Role-based access | Users see only the projects and teams their role allows |
| Administrator controls | Customer administrators manage users, roles and structure |
| Audit logs | Changes to projects and settings are logged |
| Data retention | Retention configured to the customer's policy |
| Data residency | Hosting in the region the customer requires, or on-premise |
| Encryption | Data encrypted in transit and at rest |
Privacy by design
Because ETA measures outcomes rather than personal activity, it fits privacy expectations in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the Gulf and elsewhere far more easily than monitoring tools. Customers remain responsible for informing employees about how project data is used.
